Who built it
CaseForward was built by a retired Navy Legalman — 22 years as a senior enlisted legal and administrative specialist, preparing courts-martial paperwork, powers of attorney, and administrative filings to military standards. In that world, a rejected document isn't an inconvenience; it's a failure. The fix is discipline: every requirement verified, every field checked, nothing sloppy leaves the shop. That documentation discipline, applied to self-help family law, is this product. Drafted to a Chief's standard.
There's no team page because there's no team — CaseForward is a small founder-run company under IdaMil LLC in Ashland, Virginia. What you see on this site is what exists.
What CaseForward is — and what it isn't

CaseForward is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We won't tell you which option to pick or what the law means for your specific facts — the decisions in your case are yours. And if your situation is contested, complex, or high-stakes, self-help software may not be enough. Free help exists: your court's self-help center, legal aid, and LawHelp.org. We'd rather point you to the right help than sell you the wrong product.
Why $99 and not $499
Because software does the assembly. There's no office to keep lit, no commissioned sales team, no upsell army waiting behind the checkout button — so the complete DIY divorce packet is one flat $99. When you want humans to do the preparation for you, that's our separate full-service option, and it honestly costs more. Either way, you see full previews of your documents before you pay anything.
